Hallow-een

Picture
Where did this macabre, ghoulish, prank-infested festival come from?
As obviously dark and sinister as this day appears it doesn't seem real difficult for any professing believer in the Creator of light to steer clear of such an observance.  However, we're prone to justify anything in the name of fun, aren't we?
So in case there's any doubt as to the origins of this heinous day (and what our Father in heaven thinks about it), let's take a look, shall we?

Ghosts and goblins, witches and demons, these and other hideous things make up the traditional ideas of Halloween.  The holiday itself conjures up images in our minds of dark and wicked things no matter how many stores sell princess costumes, colorful candy, and "fun" decorations.  It is a time of evil in the minds of many and that's because the origins aren't at all hidden.
